The j7+, although not as intelligent as the $1,217 Roomba S9+ Self-Emptying Vacuum Robot from iRobot and can't clean the stairs, it's an excellent choice for those who require both mopping and vacuum. It's not too expensive, and the iRobot app makes it very user-friendly.
The iRobot Home App is easy to use, but we found it less reliable as other robotic cleaner apps. It can take some time to download updates, and often it's difficult to know whether the update actually functioning until you've seen it in action.
2. Roborock Q5+
If you're looking for a robotic vacuum cleaner that can do more than simply clean your floors A hybrid is the best option. This kind of robot usually comes with a built-in tank for water, meaning they can both vacuum and mop your house simultaneously. The Q5+ is noticeable soft around obstacles like wall legs and table legs and walls, which makes it a great choice for homes with lots of furniture. It is also very thorough in cleaning up dust bunnies. This is a place where many robot vacuums that are less expensive do not excel in. The technology for navigation in the Q5+ is excellent and has very few misses in corners and on walls.
Like other Roborock devices, the Q5+ can be controlled with a few buttons on the device or via the Roborock app. Through the app, you can start and stop cleanings and schedules, as well as create virtual barriers and no-go zones, and alter your home map or re-label rooms.
If you select the Q5+ model, it includes a new auto-emptying dock that's designed to make the robot easier to maintain. Installing it requires a screwdriver but once it's installed, emptying the bin can be done with relative ease. The Freo X Ultra is a well-rounded robot vacuum and mop that's impressively smart in both its mopping and vacuuming capabilities. Its design is among the top in the market, but it's expensive.
It's a small base station that looks stunning and is able to be concealed when not in use. The station's most appealing factor is its ability to automate many tasks and functions that other robots will leave to you. Its vacuuming capabilities are impressive and efficient, too. It's the only robovac I've tested that does a good job picking up debris from bare floors. And it's not as loud as the costly Roomba 900 series or iRobot 980.
The Freo X Ultra is not without faults, particularly when it comes to navigation. The laser and LiDAR sensors aren't as reliable as other robovacs, which means it is sometimes stuck or confused in certain areas of your home. It's not able to navigate stairs as well as some competitors, for instance and doesn't come with a dock that allows you to set up an exclusive cleaning zone for carpets with plush padding.
Although it doesn't have as many in terms of cleaning options available in its app or as many shortcuts within the app like other robovacs the Freo X Ultra is still an excellent choice for those seeking a great all-round mop and vacuum cleaner that's worth the price price.
If you're looking for a way to save money or aren't concerned about the limitations of the robot, there are plenty of other options on the market. Many of the eufy models cost substantially less. The Eufy Qrevo Curv, for instance is less expensive and provides the same experience in the app, but with more features, including stair climbing, a full-function dock, and superior overall performance when vacuuming floors and low and high-pile carpets.

eufy is an Anker company that has a history of producing robot vacuums that offer the perfect balance of features, performance, and price. The G30 Hybrid offers a powerful cleaning on carpets and hard floors, as well as mopping functions at a reasonable price. It's easy to set it up, simply snap on one of the side brush and turn it on, then plug in your charging dock. The app will guide you through the steps required to connect your G30 to your Wi-Fi. The dock should be placed close to an outlet that has enough space to move.
